Casian Pătrășcanu returned home, to Romania, after four intense weeks spent in the United States of America, where he attended the courses of the summer camp called Investigations in Number Theory, part of the Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes. The young mathematician is now richer both academically and personally. Every day, he was the first student in the classroom and the last one to leave it. During this time, he made lifetime friendships with his colleagues.

He also left a very good impression on the course coordinating teacher who gave us great joy and honor when he send a letter to the Ciprian Marica Foundation describing Casian’s activities and development and thanking us for covering the expenses of the trip to USA, thus increasing his chances to study at the famous Stanford University.

Congratulations Casian!
