Casian Pătrășcanu is now in the United States. Casian has the full support of Ciprian Marica Foundation for his summer activities, which consist of elite courses at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford, where he obtained full study scholarships.
At MIT, Casian participates simultaneously in two programs: MIT Launch, where students get more adaptability and resourcefulness geared towards the real world, develop and inspire more makers and innovators, and generate more demand for entrepreneurship education in schools and and MIT Launch Clubs, where club members start a company in teams, learning the entrepreneurial skill set and mindset by starting, growing, and experiencing the adversities of founding a company. Casian will also start a Launch Club in Romania when he returns, in order to teach other colleagues how to launch a start-up.
At Stanford, he is part of the Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMaC), a mathematics camp which has a 20-year history of taking mathematically talented high school students from around the world on an enriching journey of mathematical discovery.
Ciprian Marica Foundation team wishes him best of luck!
