Considered a genius by connoisseurs, Mircea Dumitrescu feels, lives and breathes music.

The young violinist has an impressive CV. The scholar of Ciprian Marica Foundation until now gathered 50 1st prizes at national and international contests, 5 grand prizes with trophy, 4 special prizes and the list goes on.

The violinist gave concerts and recitals on the biggest stages of Romania, Italy and Germany.

Among his prize list, we briefly mention the 1st Prize at the National Music Olympics, a contest dominated many years in a row by the scholar of the foundation, the 1st Prize at the International Contest “Alice Bel Colle”, the 1st Prize at the International Contest “Vittoria Caffa Righetti” (category 18-35 years old), 1st Prize at the International Contest “Festival del Golfo” held in Italy.

His value is indisputable. The Romanian Government honoured him with an Excellence Diploma for his astounding results.

All prizes and distinctions obtained came as a confirmation of his talent and hard work. However, Mircea always wants to progress, to surpass himselves.

To evolve, besides work and passion, Mircea Dumitrescu needs support. Impressed by his results  Ciprian Marica decided to help this exceptional young man.

Through his foundation, Ciprian assured to the eighteen years old violinist the funding for mandatory repairs that need to be done periodically to the instrument in order to be able to play at the required level, the funding for violin classes with the best teachers in the world, the founding to travel to competitions and concerts and for the scene costumes, all of them being important for his future international career.
