Lately, Irina Tarău has competed in three major dance competitions: Young Stars Ballet Competition, Youth America Grand Prix and the Romanian National Olympics in Choreography.
At YSBC, Irina won silver medals in both classical – Satanella – and contemporary – Up Down – sections. Young Stars Ballet Competition is the only ballet and contemporary dance competition in Romania that offers young dancers real opportunity to win scholarships in some of the most famous ballet schools in Europe and USA. These medals granted Irina a full program summer intensive scholarship to Kozlova’s dance Conservatory in New York.
Thanks to her very good participation at YAGP, Irina Tarău won a scholarship to Paris.
This month Irina has just won the gold medal in the National Olympics in Choreography at Bacău, classical dance section.
